10 bulbs each of 100 Watt used for 1 hr every day for one months = 10*100*1*30 =30Kwh . how much CO2 is that ??? thats 13kg of CO2. In my opinion thats already a lot of CO2 -a green house gas. (What is a green house : read at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greenhouse_effect) But wait we just don't have bulbs, we have washing machine, dish washer, electric oven, fans, air conditioning and many more electricity consuming appliances.
Find out more accurate eastimate of CO2 you produce for yourself: http://www.nef.org.uk/energyadvice/co2calculator.htm
Look at your energy bill e.g PG&E. If you haven't ever looked at your energy bill , this might be a good time. Search for the detailed section of the bill and look for Kwh. (stands for Kilo Watt Hour and is the Unit of electricity).
